This is a question most of potential traveller is asking. Madagascar is well-known as the Island of Lemurs, Baobab Trees, and beatiful beaches.
The year is divided in two season, winter (April - October) and summer (November - March). Tourism season generally starts in April until November. Peak season is between July until October, where it is crowd everywhere. Then December until March, it is the low season, because it is also rainy season, some parts are not accessible due to road conditions.
However, you could visit Madagascar all-year, there is always somewhere you can go and something you can do. Both season has the advantage and inconvenient.
Personnally, I see that between December until June is my favourite part of time. Colours are wonderful, still green, wildlife is still active. The chance of rain depends to the area you are, but more chance of rain is the highlands.
February is chance of cyclone, until March.
April until June, the weather is very so nice, not too hot, and not too cold.
Baby lemurs are in October. It depends to what you looking for as well.
